His Journey
With years of personal and professional experience in the healthcare field, Gabriel Grant is an expert and passionate advocate for the differently abled community. Gabriel has a proven track record of driving impactful change in his community through Care Granted and being a thought leader in the industry, with his deep understanding of the complexities of home healthcare for individuals who have suffered from catastrophic injuries, the elderly, and others in need of compassionate care.
His tailored approach to caregiving is a model of business born from personal experience. In November of 2009 Gabriel was involved in a traumatic car accident in Grand Rapids, Michigan, which initially left him an incomplete quadriplegic, reliant on 24-hour home healthcare. This experience as a client offered him a clear view into the industry and motivated his belief in the need for elevated home healthcare standards. This led Gabriel to completing a market analysis while gaining experience to help him understand and develop a foundation for what he felt was missing in the home healthcare market. In 2016, he founded Care Granted, a company with a vision that everyone has the right to resources for a full, independent life.
Gabriel consistently delivers innovative solutions aimed at fostering independence for those needing home healthcare and accessible solutions. Also, his initiatives are furthered by building positive outcomes for all generations through the Care Granted Michigan Foundation, political advocacy work on behalf of communities, and real estate development focused on inclusion. He is forward-thinking, notably driving the implementation of home healthcare solutions that extend beyond individual care to benefit the broader community.
Drawing on nearly two decades of experience as an industry professional, Gabriel provides guidance and mentorship to help individuals navigate life's challenges. Today, he continues to expand the vision of Care Granted, upholding its core mission: "To attend to the needs of others while helping them be as independent as possible."
